What you receive: hand-sliced ham, prepared in small quantities during the week of each shipment. This is freshly sliced ham.
Once sliced, the ham begins to lose its aroma and dry out. That is why we do not keep sliced ham in stock. We hand-slice only what has been reserved for each shipping cycle, in small quantities, and dispatch it immediately, vacuum-sealed.
This is why shipments take place on fixed dates: it allows us to always send freshly sliced ham, rather than ham that has been sliced and waiting to be sold.
Ham from the leg of 100% Bísaro pork, raised free-range on the fields of Quinta Mourisca, and slowly cured for 32 months in Trás-os-Montes. Only salt is used during the curing process. No colourings or preservatives.
