The Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil | Classic 2L from Quinta Mourisca is produced in Agrobom, Alfândega-da-Fé, in the heart of Trás-os-Montes, from olives of the Cobrançosa, Madural, and Verdeal varieties. The olive trees grow at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters, in soil naturally fertilized with manure from our sheep, without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers.
The November 2024 harvest yields ripe olives, picked by machine and quickly transported to the Chacim mill, just 15 minutes from our groves. The olive oil is cold-extracted using mechanical processes, preserving the natural aromas, flavors, and antioxidants that distinguish Trás-os-Montes olive oil.
This olive oil is unfiltered, preserving the authenticity and original texture of the final product. With a smooth profile, yet still featuring bitter and spicy notes, it is ideal for both cooking and cold seasoning. The 2-liter packaging is practical for daily use at home or in professional settings.
